Weekly Newsletter 📰
We are mostly continuing from last week, building on skills and concepts across subject areas. The recent Olympic events sparked some great conversations in class, and we will continue working with some of those ideas and connections in our learning. 🧥 The weather is getting a little nicer — but please continue to dress for changing conditions!
🔢 Math — We are beginning a new unit in data management, learning about collecting data and creating different types of graphs. We are also continuing to build toward multiplication using skip counting, area models, and strong number sense strategies.

🌉 Science / STEAM — We continue building our understanding of forces and strong structures as students design, build, and test their bridge builds. The focus remains on stability, strength, and thoughtful improvements based on testing.

What to Bring Each Day 🎒
📓 Agenda — bring to and from school daily. Signed by Mr. Richman before leaving; signed by a caregiver each night.
🍱 Lunch & snacks — healthy snacks encouraged. No peanut or nut products.
💧 Reusable water bottle — filled and ready each morning.
👟 Running shoes — for gym. On wet/snowy days, please send indoor and outdoor shoes.
🏷️ Label everything! — clothes, lunch bags, snack bags, food containers, and backpacks.
